Key Features & Advantages
Good General Heat Stability: | Provides sufficient thermal resistance for processing in many common thermoplastics. Typical heat stability is in the range of200-240°C, making it suitable for resins like PVC, LDPE, and certain engineering plastics processed at moderate temperatures. |
Excellent Migration Fastness: | Exhibits outstanding resistance to bleeding and migration in plasticized systems, achieving the highest rating (5) in standardized tests. This is a critical property for flexible PVC applications and ensures color integrity in multi-material assemblies. |
Good to Very Good Lightfastness: | Offers reliable lightfastness, typically rated at7 (good)for full shades and6-7in reductions with titanium white, suitable for both indoor applications and many outdoor uses with moderate exposure. |
High Color Strength & Good Opacity: | Delivers intense, vibrant coloration with high tinting strength and semi-opaque to opaque characteristics, providing good hiding power and formulation economy. |
Broad Chemical Resistance: | Shows excellent resistance to dilute acids, alkalis, water, and oils, broadening its applicability in technical and consumer products. |

Primary Applications in Plastics
Flexible and Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): | A primary and highly recommended application. Its excellent migration fastness makes it ideal for calendered films, cables, hoses, synthetic leather, and other flexible PVC products. Also performs well in rigid PVC profiles and siding. |
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE): | Widely used for coloring LDPE films, sheets, and blow-molded articles where its heat stability is adequate. |
Styrenic Polymers: | An excellent choice for polystyrene (PS), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and impact-modified polystyrene (IPS) for toys, household items, and electronics housings. |
Engineering Plastics: | Successfully employed in polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC) blends, and cast polyurethane (PU), provided processing temperatures remain within its stability range. |
Other Polymers: | Can be used in polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for applications not requiring the highest heat stability; the γ-type (F3RK) is often preferred here. |
