Product Description
Bismuth yellow is a high-performance yellow inorganic pigment. Its yellow phase (reflectivity at yellow wavelength) is higher than that of chrome yellow, cadmium yellow, titanium nickel yellow and iron yellow. Bismuth yellow uses bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) as the basic coloring component. Its color is a bright yellow with a green hue and high saturation. In addition to its excellent coloring properties, bismuth yellow has excellent properties such as non-toxicity, corrosion resistance and good color. It is an environmentally friendly inorganic pigment.
Bismuth yellow pigment is a highly weather-resistant pigment with excellent performance. It also has excellent solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and light resistance. It also has excellent dispersibility. It can be well dispersed in water-based paints, powder coatings, oil-based paints, and inks. When bismuth yellow is used in combination with organic pigments, it can produce a very bright luster with high color tone and strong hiding power. At the same time, bismuth yellow can directly replace cadmium yellow and chrome yellow without the need for organic pigments, which fundamentally eliminates the harm of heavy metals in the production and use of pigments.
It is used to prepare lead-free paints, and is also used in automotive paints, industrial paints, powder paints, coil paints, water-based paints, UV-resistant paints, high-temperature-resistant paints and various architectural paints that require excellent weather resistance. It can also be mixed with high-grade organic pigments to obtain orange or red with good performance. It can also be used in the plastics industry (engineering plastics coloring, masterbatch, plastic coloring), enamel surface glaze, printing inks (color inks, watermark inks, concave-convex inks, etc.), high-temperature temperature indicating components, etc.
Bismuth yellow pigment is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, and can be used in fields with high requirements for environmental performance, such as food packaging, food containers, children's toys, daily tableware and other products or parts that are in direct contact with food.
